These Terms govern your use of Sertiv, an AI life-coaching app published by Tee Time LLC ("Sertiv", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in jurisdictions that require it, including under GDPR Article 8 and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code) to use Sertiv. If you're under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian.
2. Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for all activity that happens under your account.
- Use real information at sign-up; don't impersonate someone else.
- One account per person. We may suspend accounts that appear automated, abusive, or that violate these Terms.
3. What Sertiv is — and isn't
Sertiv is a personal-productivity and coaching tool. The in-app assistant is powered by large-language-model technology and is designed to help you set, plan, and act on your goals.
It is not a substitute for professional advice in any regulated field. In particular:
- Not medical, mental-health, or therapy advice. If you're in crisis or considering self-harm, contact a qualified professional or emergency services. In the US: 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). In the UK: 116 123 (Samaritans). In the EU: 112.
- Not legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. Talk to a licensed professional for decisions in those areas.
- Not always accurate. Like any AI system, the assistant can be wrong, miss context, or sound more confident than it should. Use your judgement.
You're responsible for the decisions you make as a result of using Sertiv.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you put into Sertiv — your goals, tasks, notes, messages, calendar data, and anything else you create or share through the app ("Your Content").
To make the app work, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content to you, and to send it to our AI sub-processor (Anthropic) to generate responses, summaries, and coaching context — strictly as described in the Privacy Policy.
We do not use Your Content to train any AI model — ours or anyone else's. We do not sell or share Your Content for advertising.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Sertiv to harass, threaten, defraud, or harm anyone, or to plan any unlawful activity.
- Send the assistant content that's illegal, contains material that sexually exploits minors, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the app, extract our prompts, scrape our APIs, or circumvent rate limits, quotas, or paywalls.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the service without our prior written permission. (Responsible disclosure is welcome — support@sertiv.com.)
- Use the app to build or train a competing AI product.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. Severe violations may be reported to law enforcement.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Sertiv has a free tier and an optional paid subscription, Sertiv Pro, purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase. The free tier is fully usable on its own; Pro unlocks additional capacity and features. The following applies to Pro and is re-confirmed at the point of purchase:
- Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. It renews through your Apple ID at the price and interval shown at checkout, and payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
- It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel any time from your Apple ID's Settings → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't issue partial-period refunds.
- Refund requests outside Apple's standard refund flow can be made via Apple Support; we don't process payments directly and so cannot issue refunds on Apple's behalf.
- A free trial may be offered. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends, it converts into a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period, and any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- We may change prices on notice; existing subscribers will be notified before any change takes effect for them.
7. Service changes and availability
We're a small team shipping fast. We may add, change, or remove features, change pricing, or limit the service in some regions at any time. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service — outages happen.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. This hard-deletes your data, subject to the retention notes in the Privacy Policy §6.
We may suspend or terminate your access for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, for legal reasons, or if running your account is no longer commercially viable. Where possible we'll give you notice and a chance to export your data first.
9. Intellectual property
Sertiv — the app, name, logo, design, code, prompts, and underlying methodology — is owned by Tee Time LLC and is protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for personal use, subject to these Terms and any usage limits we set.
10. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or the accuracy or reliability of the assistant's output. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
Some jurisdictions don't allow exclusion of certain warranties; in those places this section applies to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Tee Time LLC and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US$50.
If you live in a jurisdiction that doesn't allow this limitation, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by your local law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tee Time LLC harmless from any third-party claim arising from (a) Your Content, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right while using the app.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without reference to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
Informal resolution first. Before filing any formal claim, please email support@sertiv.com with a description of the issue. We'll try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
Binding arbitration. If we can't resolve it informally, any dispute arising from these Terms or the app will be settled by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, in the US state where you reside. You and we both waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action. This clause doesn't prevent either party from seeking injunctive relief in court for IP infringement.
Small claims. You may bring an individual claim in small-claims court instead of arbitration if your claim qualifies.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we'll let you know in the app or by email to your account address. The "Effective date" at the top will always reflect the current version. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new Terms.
